Music at Mannes: Grades 3–6

Music at Mannes, a summer intensive, offers young pianists and instrumental students the opportunity to develop their skills and expand their musical interests. Each morning, students engage in interactive music and movement classes. In our instrumental ensembles, participants hone their ensemble skills through daily rehearsals; our afternoon choral program promotes vocal development. This immersive two-week experience culminates in performances in Mannes School of Music's recital halls. Learn more.
Mannes Prep Small Ensemble Intensive: Grades 7–12

The Mannes Prep Small Ensemble Intensive offers an immersive musical experience that fosters growth and creativity in young musicians. During the program, participants engage in intensive rehearsals guided by our renowned Mannes Prep faculty, honing their ensemble skills and deepening their musical understanding. Afternoons feature master classes and guest artist workshops on rehearsal techniques, improvisation, and auditioning. Our innovative curriculum also includes morning courses in creation and performance in which students explore the art of musical collaboration and composition.
