    Profile

    Principal violist, New York City Opera. Member, Mendelssohn String Quartet. Member of comtemporary ensemble Sequitur. Performances at Marlboro, Tanglewood, and Aspen music festivals. Collaborations with Cleveland, Emerson, Guarneri, and Juilliard String Quartets as well as with artists such as Isidore Cohen, Felix Galimir, and Mitsuko Uchida. Winner of 1998 Walter W. Naumburg Chamber Music Award as member of Whitman String Quartet. Concerts with Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center; tours with Musicians from Marlboro and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Guest artist with Bargemusic, Carnegie Chamber Players, Greenleaf Chamber Players, Da Capo Chamber Players, and Music from the Anthology. Recording on Albany Records of Thea Musgrave's Lamenting With Ariadne for viola and chamber orchestra. Appeared on National Public Radio's Performance Today as soloist and chamber musician.Faculty, The Juilliard School and Queens College Conservatory of Music. Faculty, Mannes School of Music at The New School, since 2004.
