All
newly admitted students enrolling for the spring semester need to submit an online waiver form if they do not wish to participate in the Student Health Insurance Plan
for the academic year. The waiver deadline for the spring 2023 semester has been extended to February 28, 2023.
New students admitted for the spring semester must complete this form before the spring deadline (February 28, 2023) and again in the fall for the following academic year.
A waiver must be submitted once each academic year. Waivers that were submitted in the fall will automatically roll over to the spring semester. Students who submitted waiver forms in the fall do not need to submit another waiver form in spring.
If you were enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan in the fall and wish to waive student insurance for spring, please contact University Health Plans at [email protected] or 833.251.1129 before the spring waiver deadline. University Health Plans will remove your enrollment form from their system, which will allow you to submit a waiver form for spring.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check your student account. You can monitor your account through my.newschool.edu (click on Electronic Bills, then View Account Activity on the Me tab) to verify that the appropriate credit appears in your student account. Your waiver will be applied to your student account approximately two to three business days after you are registered and billed for the semester.
