  • Elephant in Ivory

    Advising
My thesis is a stop-motion animation examining the cruelty of the ivory trade. Set in colonial Africa, the film follows a poacher hunting for elephants and ivory tusks. I made all my puppets and sets by hand using wood, clay, metal, and fabric, then brought them to life to tell this story over the course of about 12 weeks. I wanted to use the medium I love most to raise awareness for the animals I love most and to create something unique and powerful.
