Could You Erase That Look on Your Face
Could You Erase That Look on Your Face is my first attempt at a non-autobiographical long-form comic. Every dot was drawn by hand, then scanned to be cleaned up digitally. The loose story follows three roommates (Sniff, Jack, and Eliza) navigating their lives while trying not to strangle one another. The background for their squabbles and half-hearted attempts at personal growth is the gentrifying Chicago neighborhood of Humboldt Park. There are no clearcut heroes and villains in this comic, just messy and sarcastic young people trying to scrounge up enough money to buy a tall boy and ride the bus.
