• ESL+ Certificate Programs

  • ESL+ certificates are intensive pre-enrollment programs for international and multilingual students who need to improve their English language skills in order to succeed in their academic and professional careers at The New School and beyond. Students in ESL+ programs enjoy a rich learning community in which they not only strengthen their knowledge of academic English language but also develop a creative and critical voice and make interdisciplinary connections.

    Students in the ESL+ programs enjoy  the same student services as degree-seeking students at The New School. These include access to student housing, health services, IT support, and libraries as well as the University Learning Center, which has a staff of trained ESL tutors.
