  • Because each course in the Master's in TESOL program is informed by the latest research and current issues in the field, students emerge from the program career-ready. Our graduates work for universities and other public and private schools,* international firms, nonprofits, governments, and NGOs, and in private practice in the United States and abroad. They teach English to adults, administer ESOL programs, create new programs, and develop new teaching methods.

    *The MA TESOL degree does not by itself certify an individual to teach in public or proprietary schools in New York State.
