• Interdisciplinary Science (Minor)

  • Overview

The Interdisciplinary Science minor is offered through Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.

This unique curriculum spans the natural sciences to explore the connections between science and society by engaging with public policy issues such as stem cell research, access to clean water, alternative energies, and nanotechnology. Learn more about the Interdisciplinary Science program.

    Curriculum

Be sure to use the Interdisciplinary Science Major/Minor Declaration document when declaring the minor. Students must receive a grade of C or better in all courses taken to fulfill the minor. Courses should be chosen in consultation with an Interdisciplinary Science faculty member. See the university course catalog for fall 2024 Interdisciplinary Science courses that fulfill the requirements for the minor. This minor requires completion of five courses:

    Total Credits: 19-20

*These courses must be chosen in consultation with the Interdisciplinary Science departmental faculty advisor. LMTH Quantitative Reasoning 1 does not satisfy the math requirement.
**All Laboratory Science courses have a foundation prerequisite.
