• Noemi Florea: Designing New Forms of Sustainability

  • Noemi Florea is the founder and CEO of Cycleau, an independent design studio developing product service systems in response to the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015. Her residential water-recycling system, which she began prototyping as a student, is being trialed on Governors Island and at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Florea recently spoke at COP29 in Azerbaijan and was named a Young Champion of the Earth by the UN in 2025.
